Ehrenfels lunch Many always think that hotels are equally expensive in the price range. Fortunately, this is not common. You can enjoy that in Ehrenfels. The great changing lunch menu, with freshly prepared main courses under nine euros, is already an announcement! For the price, the portions are reasonable and very tasty. My saddle of pork steak with a mustard and thyme crust was very juicy. The accompanying side dish with celery mashed potatoes was just as great. Unfortunately, the delicious sauce was not declared on the recommendation card. And since I didn't ask, this remains exciting for me. The tarte flambée was unfortunately, but tasty. We like to visit again and again!

The inner courtyard is terrific and the radiant heaters also work in the corona winter. Very friendly service. Delicious wine, hearty food, good prices. You feel like in Italy.

It was really nice again! Good food, good wine, as it should be in Mainz.

The garden in the back yard is very nice to sit in. Unfortunately, the staff did not try to find you directly, but dealt with themselves first.

Incredibly good food. We had a minced steak with fried potatoes and a tarte flambée with goat cheese and honey. It was just super delicious. The service was super nice and in a good mood. The inner courtyard is very nice with lots of flowers and splashing water and inside it is also very nice to sit. Since it started to rain we were picked up from outside with big umbrellas. Lovely again.

Very nice historical inner courtyard, very attentive staff, delicious food and great wines. Finally, a brilliant schnapps "Old Williams pear". To be recommended at any time, but with reservation.

You sit very comfortably in the courtyard, which is full of plants and flowers. The service is attentive and very friendly. The food is very tasty and well presented. There is a small negative point, as the door in the toilet is very difficult to unlock.

Schnitzel with a hearty onion sauce. In addition a common leaf salad with bell pepper slices, cucumber slices, tomato slices with a delicious dressing. All of this served by friendly staff.

When the weather is good, the garden bar is well filled during the week from 12 noon. This is due to the good food and nice ambience.

Everything perfect. Service staff with expertise AND friendly is not often experienced. Wine advice with tasting glasses is not a matter of course everywhere. The food was great! I am absolutely thrilled and would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Comfortable place to stay in the tourist part of Meinz. Rooms are large enough. Amenities can be a bit more abundant, say an iron available for guests, toothpaste, some paper and a pen on the desk.

Ohh , the food was delicious and such a big plate.The atmosphere is nice and the location is just right.loved it . Anna who works there is amazing . I almost forgot , for drinks ,ask the white wine with sparkling water ,so refreshing ,so good and it is the beverage that people in Mainz drink it no matter what time of the day .For breakfast too :D

I went there for drinks in the outside Terrasse as it was a lively day and was not disappointed. It is spacious yet intimate and very beautiful. Indeed, the whole building was lovely. We had a mix of different dishes and all were excellent. I have to complement them on the chunky chips (fries/Pommes) which were perfectly crispy. Although they were very full the service was very polite and surprisingly fast. This is really a wine place and, as expected, the wine was excellent. 5/5

A very nice restaurant located in a hotel (I did not stay there). The indoor restaurant is very rustic, traditional (mostly wooden). Behind it is a very large outdoor terrace which is excellent in the spring and summer. The food is good value, and there are many drinks to choose from.

A few of us ate at the restaurant, in the courtyard area (outside). With a nice evening, it was a great location to eat and have a couple of beers. The food (we had pork schnitzel) was good and excellent value. All in all, would definitely recommend.

Been twice in very short time. Food is classic well made, service is a bit long. Garden is great if weather allows.
